Barista

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Barista emerged as a beacon of connection and support. Led by the 100 Coffee Movement and involving over sixty dedicated contributors from eleven countries, Barista wasn’t about money or fame, but about uniting humanity.

Barista’s mission was a response to the pandemic-induced isolation that gripped us all. Participants signed up, verified their identities, and shared their interests, enabling engaging connections with like-minded individuals. There was also a call for reaching out to vulnerable community members, requiring extra verification for greater impact.

For those lacking technology, Barista facilitated connections via phone calls. Support poured in through sign-ups, partnerships, and donations, ensuring that even $1 made a meaningful difference. Together, we weathered the storm.
